All fall/winter bursary allocations for students who applied by the October 15 deadline are paid to a student's winter tuition account as a credit (payment will be applied by mid-December) unless your are studying and receiving OSAP funding for the fall semester only.  Students studying fall only will have their bursary applied to their fall tuition account.

Important:  If you withdraw from your studies, drop below 60% of a full course load in fall or decide not to return to full-time studies in Winter (i.e. to complete a coop work term) after you have claimed your OSAP assistance on a fall/winter OSAP assessment, bursary assistance will be cancelled for the winter term as you will be overpaid in OSAP funding (students receive 60% of their fall/winter OSAP assessment in fall).  If however, you complete the fall term and are not returning for the winter AND you repay your OSAP overpayment in full prior to November 30, please notify the Student Awards Office as consideration for fall only may be given.

Graduate Students - The University of Windsor Graduate Student Bursary will open up on October 15 and will close on January 15.

Law Students - The Awards for Law Students with Financial Need bursary application opens up on August 15 and closes on September 30.  Law students who miss the September 30 deadline can apply on the UWindsor In-Course Bursary starting on October 1 however law students will not be considered for law specific awards.  For law specific award consideration in addition to the in-course and student access bursary, apply on the Awards for Law Students with Financial Need application by September 30 (there will be no extensions).

University of Windsor Work Study Program
Fall and/or Winter

The Work Study Program funds part-time jobs on campus for students demonstrating genuine financial need related to basic living expenses and educational costs. Positions offer opportunity for both financial benefits and skills development.

IMPORTANT: Students are expected to apply for OSAP funding to meet their financial need. Work Study would be considered only if OSAP funds are not sufficient to meet that need. Out-of-province students are expected to apply for government assistance through their home provinces and provide the Student Awards Office with a copy of their assessments.

Students can apply for the Work Study Program by doing the Award Search starting August 1 via the Student Information System.
