The RPLI began affecting student activities and outcomes in fall 2012, as the result of specially designed programs.
Implementation of a newly designed package of student leadership measurement tools and development activities has begun across the undergraduate and graduate program curricula. All incoming MBAs are now quickly immersed in understanding themselves and others through such tools as “Competing Values Frameworks” and “Strengthfinders.”
At the undergraduate level, third and fourth-year students have the opportunity to work on their leadership communication skills in Speaking As A Leader. Students who opt in to the RPLI leadership development program will create a personal leadership development strategy with specific goals and actions, and will have a coaching program available for periodic check-ups on their progress.
