Pulse of the Region 2009
4th Annual Survey of Business Confidence in Windsor/Essex Region
Thursday, February 18, 2010

This presentation will be the first public disclosure of the results of the fourth annual Windsor-Essex Region “Pulse of the Region” business confidence survey. This survey captures the perceptions of local business leaders regarding current and future business conditions and economic trends. The report addresses executives’ views and/or their organization’s results with respect to:

  • government policy

  • sales and financial performance

  • the condition of the economy

  • investment, capacity and productivity prices

  • employment levels

  • inventory and production

This year’s study also offers comparisons with past results, meaning that we have data about perceptions and results for local enterprises spanning from 2005 to 2009. The study results will be first released to the public on February 18, 2010, at the Odette Connects Partner in the Experience Breakfast held at Alumni Hall on the University of Windsor campus.
